Arcadia Documents Furthur’s Fantastic Five-night Run at Best Buy Theater
Continuing the tradition of legendary Grateful Dead shows in New York City, Furthur, featuring original Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Phil Lesh, pulled off a phenomenal five-night run at Best Buy Theater in Times Square. Deadheads young and old were treated to a wide array of classic Dead tunes, as well as special surprises, including the band tearing through the entire second half of the Beatles’ Abbey Road to close out their triumphant residency in Times Square.

During this excellent week of music, Arcadia was there, documenting each night by producing & directing the in-house video and taking a healthy dose of pictures. The band were so impressed with our photos, they chose to feature our shots from three of the nights on their Facebook page. Check out the links below:
Our crew of camera operators gave attendees at the back of the venue a V.I.P. view of the magic occurring on stage. We also made five unique (one for each night) marquee spots to promote the band’s residency at the venue.
Arcadia and the Best Buy Theater have a long history with the Grateful Dead family, having worked with Phil Lesh during his own band’s extended residency in 2007 (10 nights) and 2008 (14 nights) plus two nights with Furthur in 2010.
