Arcadia Upgrades Best Buy Theater to HD

After the name change of the theater, Best Buy wanted to make sure the venue was upgraded with brand new 1080p High Definition displays. Arcadia replaced all displays throughout the venue and rebuilt the entire video distribution system to accommodate full HD resolution across all outputs of our new system. The highlights include a Sierra Video Systems 16x16 Wideband Matrix, 1080p HD Video over Cat-5 to all displays, BrightSign solid state digital signage controllers, and integration with all existing video gear.

With less than 3 weeks lead-time, Arcadia conceptualized, designed, procured and installed the entire system on time and on budget. The new system delivers 1920x1080 resolutions to all screens in the venue and looks amazing. Our first major event was the “Halo: Reach” launch event, followed the next day by the album release party for Linkin Park’s “A Thousand Suns”.
